Rejected petition Calling for harsher punishment for anybody caught carrying a knife

In the recent weeks there have been many heart-breaking and unlawful killings which involved a knife.
Many of those have involved very young individuals,both,the victim as well as the guilty.
Many people believe that the law should be more harsh. If this can be achieved,the people of the United Kingdom will be aware of the serious punishments for carrying a knife.
