I believe that we need to introduce a higher level of TAX on high Fat foods just like a tax on tobacco.

This would bring 3 huge advantages;

1) Extra revenue for the NHS, allowing for funding to help with gastric band surgery and fatty related disease.

2) Help lower the amount of fat food being consumed.

3) Force fast food retailers to make more healthy tasting alternatives or reduce level of fat content.

This tax should have a sliding scale based on content of Fat in each serving.
