That the UK Government immediately reacquire all electric and gas industries in the UK.

Then a national non profit making company be created to deliver all UK electricity and gas.

This company shall have its core aim to deliver energy just above cost price to every UK home and business.

They shall also be tasked with the UK's energy security.

Every customer will be a shareholder so any profits will be divided equally between customers.

To ensure accountability, the public will elect the head of this company and their board every five years.
