Rejected petition Create more “no fish zones” on UK coast to set a precedent for global treaty

Create and manage more “no fish zones” to allow biodiversity in the oceans to restore itself.
Set an example for the rest of the world.

More details

The oceans are vital in removing carbon-based pollutants from the atmosphere and storing them (known as carbon sinks).
A treaty over international waters in order to restore the health of our oceans is absolutely necessary. No fish zones will allow those species of fish who are over-fished to thrive and bring their population back. This will, in turn, cause an exponential increase in all fish population.
We will then be able to provide all the food we will ever need from the sea.
