Petition University Restructure

Instead of the current trend towards more people spending three or four years in university, with many degrees stretching as little as a couple of months' work into a long period of time, people should instead be learning a useful skill or trade and spending time in organised work placements.

This would not only help cut Government spending in a time of financial difficulties and allow money to be spend elsewhere, but would also improve the skills of our country, leading us to rely less on foreign workers.

Let's stop wasting money on unnecessary degrees and boost our economy through training people.
