Petition Both QE Class aircraft carriers should enter into RN service

On Wednesday 2nd October 2013 the Defence Secretary Philip Hammond said that the cost of operating the second Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carrier would amount to an annual running cost of £70million.

He has said that the money will have to be found from somewhere else, but with the withdraw from Afghanistan and current aid to India due to stop in 2015, I beleive no cuts would have to be made and operating both carriers is an option that politicains should consider now and not in the next SDSR in 2015.
