Experts have confirmed that over 50% of the budget in Malawi is lost through corrupt and fraudulent practices. The United Kingdom is one of the major donors to the country.

We are calling upon you to temporarily suspend aid until:

a. the Malawi President suspends all officials from affected ministries allow for smooth investigations

b. the President and cabinet declare their assets immediately

c. allow a comprehensive forensic audit to be carried out by an independent international institution
