Closed Abolish VAT charges to NHS for supply of GP Locums through Recruitment Companies

VAT charges for the supply of General Practitioner Locums within the NHS is becoming costly for the General Practices that require GP Locum cover. A General Practice based within the NHS does not pay VAT, but yet Recruitment Agencies have to charge VAT to the practices.

With the talk of General Practices opening 0800-2000 7 days a week will only increase pressure on salaried General Practitioners.

Help abolish VAT charges to the NHS.
