The ONLY people who have an interest in controlling the output of the UK press are those who have a need to keep information from the population of the UK. This MUST NOT be allowed and it should ONLY be done if the people of the UK agree to it through a legally binding referendum. This is far too principled a point to allow it to be decided by a few corrupt politicians and a couple of B and C list celebrities.
