I would like to propose that the £16 billion in unclaimed benefits be utilised to provide more help for elderly and disabled people.

Recent media stories concerning help for these people, some of whom are allocated as little as 15 minutes per visit, highlight the need and this money could make a great difference to many people's lives.

Also it must be ensured that such money is used to its best effect, not being soaked-up by administration costs but passed on to the service users themselves.
