Rejected petition religious education

More details

The current compulsory curriculum as published on the Department Of Education Northern Ireland’s web site states that Christianity must be taught to primary school children.

I feel this does not reflect the views of the majority of people in Northern Ireland who choose not to support Christianity or indeed any religion.

My petition calls for this compulsory curriculum to be changed to include an overview of all religions rather than focusing exclusively on Christianity.
