Rejected petition Close schools during lockdown!

I am a very concerned parent and school Covid focused cleaner and I am extremely worried about schools not closing as we head into this new lockdown, younger people are more likely to be carriers and at no fault of teachers are not following social distancing at schools.

I am worried this will lead to further spread as parents will be coming back from work environments and possibly spreading to their children which will only course it to spread faster, we need to look at the big picture as many of us parents are very concerned about doing school runs with other parents who also don't follow social distancing. We understand that it is important for children to get an education but if it means putting their parents/carers at risk it could lead to greater issues.
