Closed petition Tavistock to Plymouth rail link, Devon
Closed on
Re-instate the rail link between Tavistock, the main town in West Devon and the main city and employer in the area, Plymouth. Ensure it is fully compatible with the ability to extend to Okehampton in the future for a key diversion route through Devon if the main route floods on the sea wall at Dawlish,
Devon, particularly the rural areas in Mid and West Devon are poorly served by rail, by opening these areas up it should stimulate the economy and ensure more tax is collected by the Government through increased productivity.
