Rejected petition Include Down Syndrome children as clinically extremely vulnerable too
Adults with Down Syndrome, 18 & over, are now listed as clinically extremely vulnerable to Corona Virus.
Children with DS have been excluded when they urgently need to be added to this list too.

Down Syndrome causes an abnormal immune system, prone to respiratory infections, pneumonia, flu (tiny airways) and many have added health conditions too.
Children with Down Syndrome have the same vulnerabilities as an adult with DS.
I want all children with DS added to the clinically extremely vulnerable list too and Parents should decide if they want to shield them or not depending on their individual health conditions without fears of threats of fines from schools.
