Petition Improve public transport - end standing

Every day sees a lot people pay a high amount of money to be transported in safety and comfort to wherever they are going. It is very dangerous to travel while standing either on the bus, trains etc. This a very poor customer services compared to other paid services. We seem to accept these conditions as normal and not much is done to bring these to an end. That no lives may have been lost due to overcrowding on our buses and trains does not mean that we should ignore the problem. Rules should be brought in to end overcrowding on our transport for health and safety reasons as well as receiving service paid for by the customer.
