Unlike all the government proposals Brize Norton is in the perfect position to be expanded into the new London airport.
It is bounded by the M5, M40 and M4 has the best access for the whole country (not just Londoners) and is also surrounded by the train network.
Presently the RAF operate from this airport which is long enough for the largest military aeroplanes so there would be few problems expanding for civil use.
The job is half done, it's a no brainier.
Even the name is not bad "London Brize" or "London Brize Norton".
