Petition build a road between London Road Hackbridge through to Beddington Lane

To build a road between London Road, Hackbridge and Beddington Lane, Croydon to ease the increasing congestion both ways towards the junction of A232 Croydon Road (towards Wallington) and the A237 Carshalton Road (towards Mitcham).

Residents have been told a road could not be built through the waste land however, housing estates have since been built on some of this waste land.

Years ago, the Mile Road in Hackbridge was open to walk through to Beddington Lane and before my time, those lucky enough to have cars could drive through it. The road is now owned by a water company and is now closed.
