Rejected petition Reduce VAT to 5% for all bricks and mortar stores on our high streets.

We want our VAT reduction to 5% inline with hospitality and leisure industries from the current 20% level.

This would drive people to the high street to spend money locally driving additional revenue when consumer spending is low.
It would put each business on a level playing field, protecting jobs and the economy.

Why was this petition rejected?
