Rejected petition Government funding for mental health within education
Many schools do not have much put in place for students who suffer from bad mental health and are in need of support/help. Governments should fund the schools or supply schools with a team of councillors who’s full time job will be to care for, support students and actually speak to and help them.
More details
There should be enough support workers within the team so that no student is ever shut out or told that there is no time for them.Mental health is very important and a massive issue worldwide, people having the feeling of loneliness or helplessness may lead to drastic things like self harm or suicide. Something like this can save hundreds and thousands of lives.Students should never be rejected or feel as if they have no where to go.This will prevent that and give them support that they need.
