Petition Stop giving British money to fund Indian space trip to Mars

Stop overseas aid to India until it puts its own house in order.
Reason for request: India has announced it is sending a space mission to Mars.
Why are we giving money to this country who is making no attempt to help its people out of poverty, respect women, protect them from rape, improve employment and other major social issues.
Aid money should be put to the use it is intended and I do not want my money helping them to finance a space mission, when other issues should be taking priority. The money used for this enterprise should be properly used for the benefit of its people and not world wide prestige.
