At the moment only male officers can search and strip search male suspects and likewise only female officers can search and strip search female suspects.

This is to prevent sexual arousement and to prevent accusations of improper contact.

I would like the government to recognise this issue and make a change that ANY homosexual male or female must be prevented from doing any kind of search to a heterosexual suspect without consent.
