The BBC is fantastic value for money. Four TV channels, multiple radio stations, and probably the best internet news site in the world. And yet the government wants to give some of the license fee to other channels. The license fee works out at 39 pence a day, compare that to the cheapest SKY package of 79 pence a day. The BBC offer the best quality programmes of any TV in the world...and all advert free.
