Petition re-open the Great Central Railway line

More details

Scrap the expensive HS2 and re-open the existing Great Central Railway line (the clue is in the name). Much of the infrastructure still exists (I live near it) and it would be vastly cheaper and take much of the freight from the existing railway lines. This would free them to provide even better passenger services and everyone would benefit.
