Closed Reject the proposed appointment of Simon Stevens as Chief Executive of the NHS

This man’s company, UnitedHealth Group, as part of the US private health care industry fought to stop even a limited step towards a universal health system there. It is planned to pay him £189,000pa, well in excess of the salary the PM thinks right for public officials.

The new Chief Executive should be selected from those who have spent their lives in the NHS.
