Rejected petition Close the schools in January .

This petition has been created for schools to remain closed . It is not fair that we have to work from home and not see our family but yet children can go to school where the virus is spreading . We need to keep our children safe and also parents and teachers . Especially those at high risk .

The reason we want to keep schools closed is because children are catching it at school and bringing it home to there family . Children are not safe at school . They are mixing with 30 other children from different households.
People at home that have had to shield all year round are catching the virus because they are sending there grandchildren who live with them to school. We need to close them and we need to close them quickly before more people catch it and get sick .
