Rejected petition Introduce the proof of negative Covid-19 test to enter the United Kingdom.

The United Kingdom was one of the only country in the world to never close their borders, this allow to support slightly aviation. However the UK government never decided to test the people entering the Kingdom. Indeed testing required for most part of the rest of the world but not to enter the UK.

A virus got no borders. With countries reopening their borders to allow business or tourism, with the vaccin being roll out and with the mesures taken by airlines, people are more and more willing to fly and planes are filling up. Testing people and ensure they are negative before entering the country will allow us to help control the spread of the virus. Anyone can be negative when leaving the country but positive on the return. This would also help airlines to gain confidence from customers.
