The sale of fireworks to the general public should be banned, only licenced public displays by local authorities or such like should be permitted to purchase / set off these potentially lethal forms of explosives.
They are anti social and often frightening, not only to animals and the informed/elderly but are an example of anti social behaviour in our communities. Yet we can legally set them off in close proximity to residential sites.
