Rejected petition CLOSE ALL EARLY YEARS SETTINGS EXCEPT TO KEYWORKER/VULNERABLE CHILDREN

Early years education settings need to be given the same treatment as all other means of education. If we have to stay working on the front line,then by all means put us at the top of the list for a vaccine or close us until the figures drop!

Early years educators come into close contact with several children on a daily basis.We can see as many as 70 odd children in one week!
We are sneezed on,coughed on,hugged,touched daily despite promoting and encouraging good hygiene practices.
We reassure them with hugs when upset,we cannot socially distance from them and we are advised against wearing PPE.
All of the above puts us Early years workers at risk EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Cases are on the rise and again,our sector is overlooked
