Rejected petition Issue a suitable laptop, broadband access and accessories to school children

Make arrangements with all computer companies and broadband companies to provide a suitable laptop, broadband access to school children in each family. Irrespective of covid situation. This is not for high earning families.

Given the technology era it is now a basic human right that should be given to all eligible school age children. Many of the young people are in this situation through no fault of their own. It could encourage STEM students from different minorities. It will be of enormous benefit to school children and will help towards catching up on their lessons and no falling back. Currently there is the prospect of many young people having to re do school years and or lessons.

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
