Rejected petition House the Homeless: Bring back ‘Everyone In’
We’re calling on the UK government to restart ‘Everyone In’, with immediate effect.
More details
In March 2020, at the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the UK government ensured all homeless people had a bed through the ‘Everyone In’ policy.
Despite being a success, the policy was quietly dropped in May.
Now homeless people are facing lockdown in sub-zero temperatures, with a super-infectious covid strain.
The success of ‘Everyone In’ in March has showed that homelessness is not inevitable. We can stamp out homelessness forever, and now is the time to do it.
