We would like you to issue parents with food vouchers instead of food hampers and only the Goverment can do this and tell schools to to this.

Goverment can tell schools to issue us with vouchers instead of hampers. It’s not worth the money the government are giving to schools and we only get little bit but with the vouchers we can get a lot more and we can chose what we feed our kids

The national voucher scheme to provide meals to children eligible for free school meals during lockdown reopened on Monday 18th January. Schools are able to claim back support provided through lunch parcels or locally arranged vouchers since 4th January from the Department for Education.
