We exhort the Government to provide better training for nursing staff around the complex issue of breast-feeding, and to fund the training and provision of breast-feeding advisers on all maternity units in the United Kingdom as well as improving breast-feeding support after discharge from hospital. We also ask that there should be better education and support around mixed feeding for those who cannot solely breast-feed their baby for whatever reason.
