We the undersigned are concerned at the closure of wards and beds at Loughborough Hospital, at the reduction in the range of services offered and at the cuts to staffing at the Hospital and Urgent Care Centre, all without full consultation with local residents.

We urge the NHS to ensure the full use of the hospital and its facilities, that it is fully manned with appropriately qualified staff and that it delivers a full range of services to complement those offered by local GP’s, to reduce the pressure on the Acute Sector and to realise the ambition for care to be delivered to patients as close to home as possible.
