Rejected petition Enforce bank holidays and weekends in boarding schools

Due to the Organisation of Working Time Act 1997 technically schools should be forced to give full weekends and bank holidays without enforcing commitments or requiring students to stay in schools. Unfortunately this act is not being followed by a vast majority of Boarding Schools and so they should be forced into action and reminded of their requirements under said act. We would Like the government to raise this issue in commons and write an act forcing schools to accept this.
