Rejected petition I want HGV drivers to be recognised for the work they are doing

Pat money into hgv wages. Hgv drivers all need bonuses.
Working for a company, self employed, ad hoc.... every hour they’ve worked they need bonus’

I want it to be fair. People who have had furlough payments may have lost a minority of their wage. We have had to risk ours/ and our families life’s through and the pay is decreasing.
Everythinh a lorry driver does offers a service, whether it be supermarket deliveries, roads, waste, house deliveries, hospital delivers, pharmaceutical companies, machines being delivered to hospitals- bridge repairs, tarmac for the road.
They are all on a lorry.
Who drives a lorry?
How much scrutiny do lorry drivers go through
In an accident, we would always be the first accused. 90% of them are down to a vehicle which don’t have a tacho advice fitted.
Please help us out. It’s only fair
