Rejected petition Hold all school children back one academic year, lost due to coronavirus

Quite simply , I feel all children attending school from reception primary to year 11 secondary have now missed so much education due to coronavirus , that it would be now a good idea to start each respective year again from September , enabling time to catch up academically.

The education lost this year for all children in all school years , quite simply will not be able to be made up over any amount of time, effectively denying our children a year of core basic education that cannot be recouped, due to this I strongly believe all school years be held back one year , in order to catch up and once again re-strengthen their foundations of learning ,enabling them to carry on throughout their school years without have had missing a year of vital education.
