It should be made a Criminal Offence to impersonate a past or present member of the UK Armed Forces.

Army, Navy or Airforce

Individuals that claim to of served Queen & Country, tell long stories of 'missions' and claim to have served with various 'Regiments', claim to be 'special forces', wear fake medals & uniforms at Remembrance Parades but have NEVER carried out a days Military Service in their life need to be prosecuted.

These Walter Mitty Characters are fraudsters & detrimental to the entire HM Forces past and present.

Any suspects would be reported to and investigated by the Civilian Police who will have authority to carry out background checks and charged if necessary.
