Introduce an affordable and mortgagable property price. Banks are not lending money - and when they are it is only the very fortunate few who have the deposits required to forful the financial multipliers for home loan. The property market has just run away from the average persons income and the introduction to a maximum house price will help the economy and society in the whole. The Valuation Office at the Inland Revenue set the prices of properties - so it about time they bought them back down again by at least 50% If this mean council have to tighten their belts - so be it.
