The necessity for ALL cyclists to have VALID INSURANCE, TAKE A CYCLING TEST/ CYCLE ROADWORTHY TEST/MOT , Every day i witness disgraceful riding by cyclists on our roads. They have total disregard for other road users,squeezing into small gaps,damaging vehicles in the process leaving motorists to foot the bill, have no insurance and most cycles are not fit for the road. A riding test should be taken once a year and a license to ride.Punishment by fine should be the same as motorists for non complience and points given.
