Petition Stokesley: Opposition to a housing development

We seek government support in our opposition to the Johnson Brook proposal to build 230 houses on a Greenfield, wooded site within Stokesley for the following reason:
The proposal is contrary to the Hambleton District Council's development plan for the area. Stokesley is a small, historic market town in North Yorkshire with a population of around 5000 and does not have the necessary infrastructure to support a rise in population of up to 15%, or more.
