This scheme should be stopped because of the following:

Not value for money

Dated technology - money better spent on more future proof systems

Negative impact on local businesses and house prices directly on route

Removal of green spaces

Force purchasing of essential land from Leeds College of Art (and other areas) resulting in safety issues for students and employees

Will NOT ease congestion, and may in fact increase congestion due to taking priority at traffic lights

Limited route

Bus stops not linked with current bus stops

Reduction in services 1 and 6

Negative impact on cyclists

People unlikely to choose over driving to and parking in Leeds centre

£250m for 8 miles of road with only 20 buses
