Government promised to vaccinate those with underlying health conditions in Group 6. These are people who were considered ‘clinically vulnerable’. Asthma sufferers who have to take daily steroids are now excluded from this group. This must be changed!

Asthma attacks are often triggered by viral infections. Asthmatics are at greater risk from Covid. This us a simple, logical connection.

Decisions about who is clinically extremely vulnerable is a clinical decision, not the responsibility of the Government or House of Commons.

We could accept a petition calling for people who are judged at moderate risk (clinically vulnerable) from Covid-19 to be given increased priority in the Covid-19 vaccination programme, if that is what you want to happen.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
