It has been noted that there has been much development in the UK army and given the recent conflicts that Britain has been involved in that is right and proper.

There has been some development in the Navy (Illustrious for example) although it is noted less development than in the army

Possibly some development in the air force (planes on the aircraft carrier) and evidence of successful missions such as Libya . However there may be less development in the air force than in either the army or navy

So there is evidence of processes of upgrading conventional forces.

Action: Modernisation, development, upgrading, deployment and enhancement of Britain's non Conventional defence systems is also required and action needs to be taken now to ensure that capability meets Britain's future needs
