Closed Remove restrictions on the Sunday trading hours of large shops

We call on HM Government to remove restrictions on the Sunday trading hours of large shops as set down in the Sunday Trading Act 1994.

Specifically, to remove restrictions on the total trading hours and the period in which trading can take place on Sundays.

With an exception that the appropriate local authority can block a shop's right to trade outside of the current Sunday trading restrictions if it can demonstrate significant net detriment to the local community is the most likely result.
