The UK has to prepare for the possibility that Scotland will go independent. If such it provides 44 billion in oil exports, it is therefore necessary to reorientate our economy from one which relies on these exports to one which is based on advanced engineering, advanced manufacturing as well as services. This does not mean bringing back the coal pits but biotechnology, nano technology
