To light up war memorials in villages during the period of 2014-2018 with red lights to represent the colour of the poppy. To be used at night, to highlight the memorials. It would only take a couple of lights per memorial, and would help communities hightlight their fallen. The money to pay for this would be minor and as part of the governments pledge to help highlight the anniversary, a simple yet effective method.
