On the 21 November 2013 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted resolution to suspend the preparation process to conclude Association Agreement with European Union.

We cannot accept the fact that President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and his government deny the right of the people of Ukraine to become closer to the Western civilization.

Many Ukrainians at home and resident in the UK feel helpless to challenge the cleptocratic regime and ask UK Foreign Office to exact pressure on the Ukrainian government to reconsider their position.

We feel that Ukrainian government is being motivated by immediate rewards promised to them by the Russian Federation and are disregarding the long-term development benefits of working closer with the EU. Such short-sighted view can have disastrous consequences not only on the future of our country but also on the political stability in the region!
