Petition Legislate for two energy tariffs only, one for residential and one for business customers

We, the undersigned, believe a simple way of cutting our energy bills would be for the Governent to legislate so that energy companies can only operate two tariffs, one for residential customers and one for business customers and we demand a Bill to be placed before the House to this effect.
There are hundreds of tariffs available and what may be the right one for the consumer now, may not be the right one next billing point as the companies alter them without informing the consumer. Tariffs as they are currently operated are simply a way of making money out of the consumer and more profit for the company.
