Closed Fund attachment aware and trauma informed training for elected politicians

Government should provide funding to ensure that attachment aware and trauma informed/responsive training is available to all MPs and other elected representatives including councillors at all levels. This training should inform all decision making that impacts on children and young people.

There is a body of evidence to support attachment aware / trauma informed responses. This should be used to inform decisions made which impact children and young people. All MPs, government, county, city and district councillors should have access to regular training from leading professionals in the attachment aware / trauma informed fields to be able to inform their decision making.
