The government should immediately NHS workers pay to a value that better appreciates the immense and selfless efforts they constantly make, in protecting the health and well-being of every citizen, in this country.

Because of the most dangerous and deadly attack upon peoples lives, future health and freedoms, since the Second World War, not only in the United Kingdom but across the whole world, health workers have been our front line fighters. They have proved how invaluable they are to the safety of everyone, rich or poor, young or old, clinically vulnerable and even sometimes apparently healthy. The government should now clearly show they recognise this.
